This 4 x 5 folding flat bed field camera was built by the legendary Deardorff and Sons of Chicago, Illinois. Although the design is nearly as old as photography itself, this particular camera was made in the 1970s. The 4 x 5, true to its name, shoots a film negative that measures, you guessed it, 4 x 5 inches. The front view shows the interchangable lens board (to accommodate various lenses), as well as the adjustable hardware which allows front and rear movements for perspective control and focus.
